What's happening...
The Fearful is on the shortlist for the Catalyst Book Award.  The winner is chosen by Scottish teenage readers and announced in September.  It's a very strong shortlist with Candy by Kevin Brooks, Divided City by Theresa Breslin and Birthday Blues by Anne Cassidy also up for the prize.  Trust me, I've read them and they're all brilliant.  Well worth checking out.
